It's been awhile since I last posted due to work schedule, but since I just received my Shiloh Sharps 1863 Military rifle configured to represent a Berdan Sharps, I thought I'd offer a short update. The rifle was ordered last summer with a promised delivery of November that slipped to December, then January 2013, and after that I gave up trying to figure out a completion date. Thus, I was pleased when I got the call last week saying the rifle was finished and ready to ship. Recall that Shiloh does have the reputation of taking much longer to complete a rifle! For those that have read the previous posts reference the quality of Shiloh products, rest assured that the folks in Montana lived up to their well earned reputation! Anyway, it's here and I'll try and post photos within the week with a description of what was ordered to make the Shiloh a fairly accurate representation of a Berdan. Mike |
