A “fine” condition Colt Repeating Rifle for sale. Tim Price provides an in depth discussion about the evolution of the rifle, it’s use during the Civil War, and an excellent description of the condition of the arm. As always, detailed photos of the Colt. Sadly, this is the closest I’ll ever come to owning one.
This arm is the shorter 31 inch barrel and not the 37 inch rifle issued to the USSS. But the images and information is valuable to those interested.

Even being the "shorter" version, I would pick it up if I had enough spare change. Unfortunately I might be able to afford a coffee, but that's slightly out of reach...
