Earlier this year, I found a heavy barrel target rifle, complete with false muzzle. It wasn't in bad shape, but it definitely needed some work. In addition to the visible issues, the triggers were messed up - it wouldn't hold full cock unless the set trigger was pulled. It weighs in at about 19 pounds, and the bore is about .57". Very deeply cut rifling, and I'm not sure of the twist rate (yet).

Most of the options were left to his expertise - for instance, I wanted the barrel browned, but I left the color and finish to him. The rougher finish doesn't radiate heat mirages as quickly as a smoother finish would. The only issue is that I didn't specify that I wanted period appropriate sights, and thus ended up with more modern ones. And price was very reasonable.
