Yes, I have the pattern made up but not yet drafted to different sizes. I thought that living in Michigan would allow me access to leather workers and craftsmen but sourcing the appropriate weight of leather has also been a problem. Everything else is settled though.
In fact, this project has been taking so long for me to complete and I'm so busy with my regular sewing business that I may contact others to undertake the project. Bill Lomas at EJ Thomas Mercantile is not only a great guy but seems willing to take a swing at something new. I've also contacted Nick Sekela, who showed some interest, but I know he's a super busy guy in general.
Now that the forum is back up and running I hope to make more announcements about this and other USSS projects of mine in the future.
