Brian discovered this bizarre news story about Frederick Streeter, who served In Vermont Company F, 1st USSS. Of all the volunteers who served in the Sharp Shooters, Streeter is the only one who was convicted of murder and executed for his crimes.

In his most recent blog, Brian White has posted a 1909 photograph of the Coy home, that belonged the the family that was tragically murdered by Frederick Streeter in 1863.
