We have started the process to place a wayside marker at the location of the John O'Bannon House in Falmouth. This is the house where the Sharpshooter's were photographed while on Provost Guard duty in May/June of 1862. I am working with many people on this project to get it complete, including the Stafford County Architectural Review Board.

I just wanted to post my initial design for the wayside marker for your info.

I have been notified of a few typo's and some suggestions. I will make these as well. The marker graphics will be 36" wide x 24" tall.

We are hoping to have it completed and placed by September of this year and have an unveil at our event.

Anyone interested in making a donation, please PM me or send me an email for information.

Looks good Dave. I'm sure others will be able to add some input, but I like it.
