At a local show last weekend, a "discussion" was started about the manual of arms and which one we should be using Hardees or Casey’s
Can anyone give a definitive answer for the sharpshooters please?

I would also like to know. Casey's for Reenactors does not have skirmish maneuvers. I wonder if the original Casey's or Hardee's Manuals contained skirmishing maneuvers. Which did McClellan favor I wonder.

what is the difference between the two manuals?

The Sharpshooters used Casey's, one of the members of our unit actually has an original copy of Casey's signed by a Sharpshooter.
