Great Article written by Bill Skillman......

You will find attached a new article I wrote with help from John Carey and Brian White. The topic is about the armorers who served in the 1st USSS--took a lot of digging to get the answers, also what they did in that capacity. Some very interesting things emerged. This article is not a 'cool battle' article but hopefully, instead will be a "Wow, I never knew that about the USSS before' for the readers...WES

A very nice and informative piece of research. When one thinks about the magnitude of destruction that took place, it would seem that many more hands would have been required to put the pieces back together. Working under terrible conditions, at best, this once again shows how Americans are at their best when put to the test. Thank you, John
