Greetings, My name is Paul Lopes, currently living in South Carolina, originally from London England . Been in the hobby for eight years now , interested in the Sharpshooters for the last three so I guess I'm a bit "green" no pun intended by you fine fellow's standards. Have been a visitor to your fine forum for quite a while and finally decided to step it up and get with those in the know concerning practical field knowledge. You don't see very many Sharpshooters down this way for all the odvious reasons . Historical, and otherwise and the few who I have seen didn't quite seem to have it right by my research. So hopefully with the knowledge and understanding I hope to acquire here will help me do justice to the men you proudly portray. YHS Paul Lopes

Welcome Paul! For those who don't associate the name, this gentleman is from American Civil War Knapsacks where I got both my hair covered knapsack and my gaiters. (Paul, you know me as Mike, the pest from UPMC :)).
