Friends,

I have one USSS frock coat for sale, made by Charlie Childs of County Cloth. Charlie has been providing the reenacting community with authentic replica uniform cloth, patterns, and clothing for about twenty years. This frock coat was made by Charlie for artist/historian Don Troiani, whom I purchased it from last year.

The frock is dark green, tightly woven twill wool with light green piping and the old style blackened Waterbury buttons. The lining is quilted brown polished cotton in the chest with muslin in the sleeves. There's a ton of expertly done hand-sewing as well as some machine work. The size is a 38" chest and was used by Don Troiani only for photo shoots presumably before working on his well-known U.S. Sharpshooter paintings.

I'm asking only $200 for this frock coat, shipping included. A new coat from Charlie is $540 purchased from his website and as far as I know this is the only USSS frock coat that he's ever produced. Please send me an email at floatingeyeofdeath@netzero.net if you are interested. Pictures are available upon request.

Thanks everyone,

Mr. White,
Could you perhaps provide an estimate of the arm length of the sleeves of this frock?
