Post subject:  Gettysburg Again Threatened with the Development of a Casino

To start putting the word out: David Levan, the "genius" that thinks a slots/gambling casino would be just grand to build in Gettysburg (did you detect my sarcasm?), is apparently trying again to push the issue. Apparently he is proposing to build one at the Eisenhower Hotel and Conference Center on the Emmitsburg Road. While there are currently no gaming resort licenses available in PA, state lawmakers are currently looking at changes to the state law, and increasing the number of licenses, or even adding table games. The committee considering this was meeting yesterday. Here are some links to some info on the developing situation.

Since I am a Gettysburg local, I will try to keep you posted as I hear more.
