Since the buttons offered by B.R.
Sutlery aren't up to snuff, has Mr.Brian White's button project evolved any in these past few months.? In a pinch for a LH weekend at an local University I painted mine and someone suggested dipping in liquid rubber, both not really the way, but worked as I was asked several times why my buttons were'nt shiney like the guys in blue......YHS Paul Lopes

Paul,

I'm still working on it. My originals are at the hobbyist and I should be getting samples any day now. It looks like they'll have hand-made brass wire shanks but no backmarks.

I will post photos and a review once I start getting them in. Right now I'm not sure how many sets I will be able to offer up...it depends on the patience and free time the person making them has!
